ICIA 2026 National Selection Italy – Shuttle to the Future

The Road to ICIA 2026 continues in Italy with an exciting open call for scientific ideas through the program “Shuttle to the Future.”

Organized and managed by Manto Circular Lab APS, this initiative serves as the official ICIA 2026 National Selection – Italy, offering young innovators the opportunity to present their scientific ideas and potentially advance to the international ICIA stage.

The program invites students aged 14 to 20, including participants from high schools, technical institutes, and first-year university students. Applicants may participate individually or as a team (maximum of three members). The call is open to creative, forward-thinking projects that demonstrate innovation, research potential, and real-world impact.

Participation is free, ensuring that access to innovation opportunities remains inclusive and accessible. Selected projects may gain access to international stages as part of the Road to ICIA 2026, creating pathways toward global exposure and collaboration.

The submission deadline for the Italy National Selection is 26 February 2026.

Participants are encouraged to prepare their scientific proposals carefully and submit their applications before the deadline. Beyond competition, “Shuttle to the Future” offers meaningful opportunities including mentorship, idea acceleration, international science camps, global Expo Sciences access, and collaboration with partner initiatives. The program is designed not only to evaluate ideas but to nurture young scientific talent and support their growth.
