Strategic Coordination for ICIA 2027 Indonesia.

A meaningful step forward in the journey toward ICIA 2027 in Indonesia.

On 15 September 2026, a Strategic Coordination Meeting for the International Creativity & Innovation Award (ICIA) 2027 Indonesia was held at the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta.

The meeting brought together representatives from more than 15 ministries and government institutions to discuss potential collaboration and coordination in supporting ICIA 2027.

The discussion reflects the importance of bringing together different stakeholders to strengthen Indonesia’s innovation ecosystem—particularly in supporting economic transformation, downstreaming, digitalization, competitiveness, and the development of future talent.

For ICIA, this marks an important part of the preparation for bringing an international platform for creativity and innovation to Indonesia, while creating opportunities for stronger cross-sector and cross-institutional collaboration.
