🇮🇩 AI for a Sustainable Future: The Road to ICIA 2027 Begins in Indonesia

The official National Selection for Indonesia has arrived!

Organized by Day of AI Indonesia, the DOAI National AI Challenge 2027 invites middle school (SMP/MTs) and high school (SMA/SMK/MA) students across Indonesia to harness artificial intelligence under the official theme: "AI untuk Masa Depan Berkelanjutan" (AI for a Sustainable Future).

This national competition is the official gateway to represent Indonesia at the prestigious ICIA 2027 Global Round!

Golden Tickets: 10 Teams (5 Best SMP/MTs & 5 Best SMA/SMK/MA) will earn direct entry to represent Indonesia!
Awards: Gold, Silver, and Bronze Medals, plus Trophies and National Certificates.
Grand Final: 26–28 February 2027 in Bandung!

Pendaftaran (Registration): 1 November 2026 – 31 Januari 2027
- Gelombang Awal (Early Bird): 1–30 November 2026 (Rp100.000)
- Reguler: 1 Desember 2026 – 15 Januari 2027 (Rp150.000)
- Akhir: 16–31 Januari 2027 (Rp200.000)
Penyisihan (Preliminary): 1–4 Februari 2027
Semifinal Daring (Online Semifinal): 6–7 Februari 2027
Grand Final Luring (On-Site Grand Final): 26–28 Februari 2027 (Bandung)

🎯 Focus Areas & Submission Requirements

Participants (1–3 students + 1 mentor teacher) can choose one of five focus areas:

Pendidikan (Education)
Kesehatan (Healthcare)
Lingkungan (Environment)
Ekonomi Kreatif & Inklusi Sosial (Creative Economy & Social Inclusion)
Kota Cerdas (Smart Cities)

What to Submit: A maximum 500-word abstract (PDF max 5 MB) describing your AI project concept or prototype, along with a generative AI usage statement.
