Join us for the Southern Regional Qualifiers of the International Creativity and Innovation Awards (ICIA), hosted by our National Selection Partner, STEAMAX. This exciting event will bring together young innovators who are ready to showcase their groundbreaking STEM and social innovation projects. Located in Đại học UEH - 279 Nguyễn Tri Phương, P.8, Q.10, TP.HCM on 15 March 2026, the ICIA National Selection Vietnam 2026 is a celebration of creativity, learning, and the next generation of leaders shaping the future through innovation.

We are living in a time when the boundary between the present and the future is rapidly shrinking due to advances in science and technology. In this context, education goes beyond simply transferring knowledge, it becomes a journey of unlocking potential, nurturing critical thinking, adaptability, and empowering young people to create meaningful impact for society.

With a strong belief in the creative potential of Vietnamese students, STEAMAX proudly organizes the national qualifying round of ICIA 2026. The event gathers talented students presenting innovative ideas developed through STEM education and social innovation approaches.

Participants will present solutions that address real-world challenges, demonstrating how young minds can combine science, technology, creativity, and social awareness.

The ICIA National Selection Vietnam 2026 will feature several engaging segments throughout the day:

  Students present their innovation projects to a panel of judges.

• Innovation Exhibition

  Attendees can explore project booths and interact directly with participants.

• Educational Workshops

  Expert-led sessions on STEM education, innovation in learning, and youth development.

• Networking Sessions

  Opportunities for collaboration between educators, innovators, and organizations.

Event Schedule

07:30 – 08:30 | Gathering & Preparation

Participants finalize their booths while the organizing committee welcomes delegates, guests, and parents.

08:30 – 09:00 | Opening Ceremony

Official opening remarks, introduction of the judging panel, and overview of the day’s activities.

09:00 – 12:00 | Pitching – Workshops – Exhibition

• Pitching (Round 1): Teams present their projects in the main hall.

• Workshop Sessions 1 & 2: Conducted in parallel (60–90 minutes each).

• Innovation Exhibition: Project displays at the ground-floor lobby.

12:00 – 13:30 | Lunch Break

13:30 – 16:00 | Pitching – Workshops – Exhibition

• Pitching (Round 2): Remaining teams present their projects.

• Workshop Sessions 3 & 4: Additional educational sessions begin.

• Networking and Booth Evaluation: Judges interact with teams and observe product demonstrations.

16:00 – 16:30 | Networking Session

Light refreshments while judges compile scores from both the booth and presentation evaluations.

16:30 – 17:30 | Closing Ceremony & Award Presentation

Announcement of winners and recognition of the most outstanding innovation projects.
