ICIA 2026 National Selection Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea officially joins the Road to ICIA 2026 through the International Creativity & Innovation Award – Papua New Guinea National Selection.

This national initiative aims to inspire and empower students across Papua New Guinea to transform their creative ideas into impactful solutions for their communities and beyond. The program is designed to cultivate, celebrate, and recognize the spirit of creativity and innovation among young people, while preparing them to compete and collaborate on the global stage.

The Papua New Guinea National Selection connects with primary, secondary, and tertiary institutions, providing students with a platform to design, develop, and showcase innovative prototypes and problem-solving ideas. Beyond competition, the program focuses on building essential skills such as design thinking, creative thinking, project design, and effective problem-solving.

Participants will also strengthen valuable leadership qualities including communication, decision-making, teamwork, empathy, resilience, storytelling, and social awareness. These learning values ensure that students are not only innovators but also future leaders who can contribute meaningfully to national development.
