Journey to the International Creativity & Innovation Awards (ICIA) 2026 Begins

The moment has arrived! “Innovation Without Borders in Pakistan” marks the official beginning of the National Selection for the Road to ICIA 2026. This monumental event is designed to harness the power of Pakistan's youth to create meaningful solutions for global challenges.

Organized by our dedicated partner, Miss Maker Maydda, A STEAM Educator, this inspiring initiative will culminate in a final on-site round in Lahore on January 20, 2026, paving the way for participants to represent Pakistan internationally in Cambodia.

Focused on a Sustainable Future

This National Selection is acutely focused on sustainability, climate action, and innovation. It provides a crucial platform for students to explore meaningful environmental issues through creative, research-driven, and hands-on project work. Participants from across Pakistan will engage in an educational experience designed to strengthen their understanding of global challenges and inspire real-world solutions that align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Event Objectives: More Than Just a Competition

The "Innovation Without Borders" initiative is built on powerful educational goals:

  • Foundation Building: To provide an enriching experience in sustainability, climate science, and responsible innovation.

  • Skill Strengthening: To strengthen critical-thinking and problem-solving skills by guiding students to design solutions for real environmental challenges.

  • Experiential Learning: To promote project-based learning, enabling participants to apply STEAM concepts creatively.

  • Global Connection: To show how student innovations contribute directly to the United Nations SDGs.

  • Youth Leadership: To inspire and empower students to initiate and lead environmental action within their communities.

Eligibility and Participation

Who can join this national gateway to the international stage?

  • Who Can Participate: Open to students from primary, middle, secondary, A Level, and university programs, including alternative education pathways.

  • Age Requirements: Participants aged 6 and above are eligible, with entries categorized by age for fair evaluation.

  • Team Composition: Students may register individually or in teams of 1–4 members.

  • Project Requirements: Submissions must be an innovation related to sustainability, environmental issues, robotics, artificial intelligence, or climate change adaptation/mitigation.

Miss Maker Maydda continues her mission of empowering young thinkers, creators, and environmental leaders who will define a sustainable and innovative future for Pakistan and beyond.
